Painting & Decorating Reviews — Wiltshire & Cotswolds

Delighted with our most recent internal decorating job finish - 3 rooms. We have used Giraffe Decorators on 3 occasions now for a mix of internal and external work. Masonry, wooden gates and garage doors, internal emulsion/woodwork. Friendly service throughout from Gareth and Richard. Diary was adapted to accommodate our timelines for an Airbnb project. We appreciate the honest feedback on options for job from point of quotation/instruction and ongoing if anything changes/arises. We will use again in future.

We were extremely pleased to have employed Giraffe Decorators to decorate our property throughout prior to moving in. Right from proving the quotation to completing the work Gareth proved to be a pleasure to work with and made the whole process an enjoyable one. He provided sound advice on paint types etc. which was greatly valued notwithstanding the quality of workmanship he and his colleague delivered. We will not hesitate to employ Giraffe Decorators in the future

Gareth was quick to respond to our request for a quotation and following his visit he provided a very clear and detailed quote. We had almost all the rooms in the house painted and Gareth and Richard fitted in around our plans to ensure minimum disruption. Both Gareth and Richard are clearly highly experienced and professional and the work was completed to a very high standard in a very good time frame - we're really pleased. We highly recommend them!

Great experience with Gareth and Richard. Professional and friendly, explained what was done. Richard even touched up a wall not in the job with some black paint they had, to make it neater. Most importantly, did a good job.

We recently moved into our new home and needed to repaint the entire interior. After contacting several companies, we chose Giraffe Decorators. Gareth and Richard were quick to respond, gave helpful advice on colours and materials, and completed the job with great attention to detail and a positive attitude. Their pricing was competitive, they answered all our questions, and handled all necessary repairs. Gareth also arranged a plasterer at short notice so the work could stay on schedule. Our home now looks like new! We're very happy with the result and highly recommend Giraffe Decorators.

This is the second time we have used Giraffe Decorators, which is a first for us. Quite simply they are the best of the best. Customer care is first class, the pride they have in their work, means you really have nothing to worry about. Our advice: tell them what you want, sit back and relax. They will take care of the rest. Can't thank them enough. We'll see them next time. We may never decorate again! Thank you Gareth and Richard.

Gareth was excellent. We are extremely pleased with the finished job.

Gareth's approach was professional from start to finish. He worked around our restrictions which really helped us. Everything was tidied away neatly each day which meant very little impact on us. Very pleased with the work done and already recommended them. Definitely would use Gareth again.

Gareth was excellent throughout the whole experience from when he came round and did a very thorough visit to understand what we wanted and gave some good advice to the completion of the job. Gareth firstly had exemplary communication throughout our renovations project. Due to a lot of unforeseen issues or requirements changes a number of times. Gareth remained patient and completely understanding of our position. Both Gareth and Richard worked our property whilst our family was at home, they showed amazing professionalism and courtesy at all times. The workmanship was first class, done on time and on budget. Highly recommended.

Gareth and Richard are a great team. They are definitely experts in their field and they are hard workers. They're flexible when things change and adapt to everything you present them. They just get on with it. I highly recommend this team of decorators and would definitely use them again. Thank you.

The team at Giraffe Decorators we fantastic. Professional service from start to finish. Quick and fair quotation, on time and got the job done in the timescales advised without interrupting my business or customers. The work was not only spot on but there was no dust or mess left behind. We will be using Giraffe Decorators moving forwards! Thanks.

Gareth is just lovely, the team are a pleasure to have around. Great job completed, exceeding expectations by painting some gates to match exterior doors that they varnished. So friendly and highly recommend.

Gareth and Richard did a great job painting the ceilings, walls and woodwork. They worked very fast and finished ahead of schedule but maintained a high standard. They were very tidy and cleared up at the end of every day. Gareth is the politest workman I've ever come across and really cares about his work. Nothing is too much trouble and he will go out of his way to help you. I highly recommend Giraffe Decorators and would definitely use them again in the future.

Gareth and Richard where very good they were punctual turn up at the time they said. They painted 2 bedrooms stair case and 4 doors both sides. They very professional and with a good eye for detail. They covered the floors and objects in the room before painting and removed all the rubbish when they had finished. I would definitely recommend them.

Gareth was fab. He showed up when he said he would, saving us from a decorator who cancelled at last minute, and did the job to good standard, even going above what was agreed so the outcome was good. Gareth updated me with photos (as we were away) and we came home to a tidy, refreshed house. He was pleasant and agreeable in all communications. Highly recommend.

Gareth is an absolute professional. It was a very tricky room to wallpaper with lots of angles and corners but Gareth did an amazing job. He matched up the complicated pattern beautifully and worked tirelessly to get everything spot on. He was very diligent and tidy and went to great lengths to get everything perfect. We feel very lucky to have found him and will definitely be asking him to come back again.

Outstanding in every way. From advising on colours and finishes, careful prep work to painting, tidying up and communications - I cannot fault the service. Gareth listens carefully, adds his own expertise and then gets on with the job. His attention to detail is second to none and the finish is of a very high standard. I highly recommend Gareth.

Highly recommend. Quality of work is outstanding and would definitely use Gareth again.

Gareth did a fantastic job covering charcoal feature walls in my house and painting them white to match the whole house. He took care of everything, including materials so I didn't have to worry. He was professional and polite and I would highly recommend for any painting job you need doing.

Gareth was punctual, friendly and delivered a high standard of workmanship. Very happy with his work and would highly recommend.

Very professional, polite guys who went out of their way to do a good job. Highly recommend them and will definitely have them back when I need painting done in the future.

An excellent job carried out on a Grade 2 Listed town house in Devizes. Provided well informed options for decoration combinations to compliment furniture, fittings and style of architecture. Conducted painting and wall papering. Accurate craftsmanship delivered with skill and professionalism. Tidy and courteous service and listened to what we wanted. Great job and would highly recommend.

Giraffe quite simply have transformed the property after a tenancy where the wear and tear had been significant. They have made it look fabulous and have done an equally incredible job with the barn and stables areas. I could not be more pleased with their work. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with smiles on their faces. Couldn't fault them.
